On-campus employment in roles such as teaching assistants, teaching fellows, demonstrators, tutors, markers, instructors, teaching laboratory assistants, Chief Presiding Officers, invigilators, and part-time lecturers.

These positions are open to Post Doctoral Fellows, graduate students in the School of Graduate Studies, and undergraduate students at the University of Toronto.

On-campus, paid work-integrated learning positions that provide students with an opportunity to deepen knowledge, strengthen skills, gain direct work experience, and translate their academic learning to career possibilities. There are two Work Study streams: work experience stream and research experience stream.

The Work Study program is offered twice per year (Fall/Winter and Summer) and is open to eligible undergraduate and graduate students at U of T.

Co-op / Professional Work-Term

Work-Term

On or off-campus paid work experience during which students from eligible programs of study apply their academic learning in a professional workplace. Students are hired by their co-op employer and work full-time hours during their work terms. Depending on the program, work term durations are 4, 8, 12 or 16 months in length.

These roles are limited to U of T students who are enrolled in academic programs that have a co-op component.

Online portal hosting career services and resources, including appointments, recruitment events, job shadowing opportunities and job boards for on-campus, off-campus and volunteer roles.
