The Master of Forensic Accounting Program is a 10-course program offered at the graduate level, primarily on a distance education basis, using a problem-based learning model supplemented by web- and email-based sessions. The Program currently has the following Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) position available for Year One of the program and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are not current University of Toronto students. No late applications can be considered.

Dates of appointment: September 9, 2025 – August 31, 2026
Description of Duties: Under the directions of the program director and instructor, mentoring students who are having difficulties understanding the course material.
Est. Total Required Hours: 50 hours
Rate of Pay: $55.44 per hour
Enrolment: 40-50 students

- IFA 1905H Fraud Prevention, Risk Assessment & Investigation, Data Analytics & Security,

- IFA 1901H Forensic Accounting Professional & Practice Issues and
- IFA 1907H Legal & Legal Process Issues for Forensic Accounting
- IFA 2900H Loss Quantification
- IFA 2905H Adv. Forensic Investigation & Psychological Aspects of White-Collar Crime
- IFA 2906H Business Valuation, Bankruptcy & Insolvency & Adv Loss Quantification
- IFA 2903H Emerging Issues/Advanced Topics
- IFA 2904H Integrative Capstone
Minimum qualifications: Professional Accounting Designation and Investigative & Forensic Accounting Experience preferred.
