The Toronto Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) at University Health Network, Mount Sinai Health System, and Women's College Hospital, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, is recruiting a Full-Time mid-career hybrid diagnostic/interventional Neuroradiologist in the Neuroradiology Division. The successful candidate must currently hold or be eligible for a University of Toronto full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021 or as mutually agreed.


Candidates must hold an MD degree or equivalent and be a board certified Radiologist and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario. The successful candidate should have one or more years of dedicated diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship and at least 2 years of dedicated interventional in neuroradiology fellowship experience. We will give preference to those who have a number of years of independent practice in the field of diagnostic and interventional Neuroradiology as Staff in an academic institution. Excellence in the entire field of interventional neuroradiology, including spinal percutaneous procedures, stroke intervention, aneurysm and shunting lesion treatments as well as pediatric interventional Neuroradiology, facial vascular malformations and venous stenting are essential.


The successful candidate should have experience in the management of spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) including proficiency at digital subtraction myelography (DSM). Candidates with extensive research experience and, in particular, peer-reviewed publications in both diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology will be selected preferentially. Experience in AI and/or Device related Research are of benefit. Given that this position will encompass also administrative tasks, a certification in Healthcare management or equivalent is helpful. The successful candidate should be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
