Your opportunity:
Annual and Leadership Giving team provides strategy, direction and management to the growing of U of T’s annual giving programs. As a member of the annual and leadership giving team, you will support fundraising and stewardship efforts to grow mass philanthropic engagement and individual philanthropic engagement. We hire outstanding people from a variety of backgrounds and currently seek a Coordinator to join our diverse group of talent.
As a member of the annual and leadership giving team working under the general direction of the Director, Annual and Leadership Giving Engagement, the Coordinator will administer and evaluate the campaign performance of the highly personalized Presidents’ Circle and Leadership Annual Giving programs. The service-oriented incumbent will develop and implement direct mail, email, and telefund renewal and solicitation efforts by coordinating the services of internal and external resources, collaborate on the composition and production of campaign collateral materials and donor communications, and serve as a liaison with faculties. The detail-oriented incumbent will analyze campaign data and results, segment lists and update donor records. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the Presidents’ Circle web site. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating program planning for Presidents’ Circle members. The incumbent will also provide customer service through follow up on direct mail, on-line and telefund initiated inquiries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing needs and contributing to the development and implementation of plans for prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition.
- Developing and implementing donor engagement plans that support strategic objectives.
- Determining logistics required for fundraising activities including direct mail, email and telefund.
- Advising on the development of promotional/outreach materials.
- Maintaining information on digital platforms.
- Providing feedback on the planning and implementation offundraising campaigns.
- Generating reports.
- Directing the work of volunteers in defined activities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably from the University of Toronto; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum four years relevant experience; with knowledge of the general area of post-secondary or continuing education.
- Experience in direct marketing planning and execution, recognition society and senior volunteer management required.
- Experience performing data extraction, data analysis, and reporting.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office software (especially in Excel) and familiarity with maintaining web sites. ARBOR knowledge and experience required.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational and analytical skills, project and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task while working under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
- Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds and interests both within and beyond the University.
- Strong customer service orientation; ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy,sensitivity and discretion in dealing with individuals of affluence and influence.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team. Ability to work in a hectic and results oriented environment.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 11 -- $73,748 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $94,310. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
