The Dalla Lana School of Public Health is a Faculty of the University of Toronto that originated as one of the Schools of Hygiene begun by the Rockefeller Foundation in 1927. Your opportunity:
As the Events/Project Coordinator for the Joint Centre for Bioethics (JCB), you will be responsible for coordinating events and projects with various stakeholders. Utilizing your strong organizational skills, you will support a range of activities, ensuring the organization and optimal execution of events. You will also be responsible for conducting post-event evaluations and making recommendations for changes. You will be an important contributor to advancing the vision and mission of the JCB.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Analyzing client needs and making recommendations on event logistics and options
- Coordinating schedules for program and event calendars; Creating space layouts for events
- Liaising with internal and external service providers
- Conducting post-event evaluation, analysis, and recommendations for changes; Disseminating and collecting surveys and questionnaires; analyzing survey results
- Editing promotional and/or outreach materials; creating and editing documents
- Collating and organizing data for various reports
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant project coordination experience, largely supporting events.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating event tasks, including schedules, space layouts, and communication with internal and external service providers.
- Demonstrated experience conducting post-event evaluations, including analyzing survey results and making recommendations for changes.
- Proficiency editing promotional and/or outreach materials.
- Experiencecollating and organizing data for reporting purposes.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet conflicting priorities and balance multiple projects.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- High degree of initiative with the ability to work as part of a team and independently

USW Pay Band 09 -- $66,715. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $85,319. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
