Description:

The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University Health Network (UHN)/Sinai Health System (SHS) is seeking to recruit a Clinician-Teacher with expertise in clinical care and teaching in general endocrinology, with special interest in pituitary disorders and endocrine oncology, for a permanent position. Advanced training, experience and record of accomplishment is required. Preference will be given to a candidate who has a minimum of three years of advanced clinical training in pituitary disorders and endocrine oncology.  Advanced training in teaching and education is also required.  They will provide exemplary teaching for trainees rotating through the service from Endocrinology, and General Internal Medicine. The successful applicant must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment with minimum rank of Lecturer/Assistant Professor. Effective start date is January 1, 2026, or a mutually agreeable date. 

 

The combined division of Endocrinology at UHN/Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH) consists of 25 full-time members and additional affiliate members located across all UHN and MSH sites, with active clinical and research programs across the full breadth of endocrinology and metabolism.

 

The successful candidate should have appropriate experience and a record of accomplishment or advanced training in the specified clinical expertise, such that they will be able to develop and maintain an active teaching and clinical program. The successful applicant must hold MD and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation) and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario. 

 

Academic rank, salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Estimated remuneration will be in the range of $195,000 - $250,000 per year.
