Course description: This course is designed to expose MPP students to the scholarly literature on public policy across a wide range of countries. Through the study of public policy in other countries, students will deepen their knowledge of public policy, and Canadian policy.

Sessional dates of appointment: September 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021
Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $8,489.67; Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term - $8,869.25; Sessional Lecturer II - $9,085.58; Sessional Lecturer III - $9,301.90
Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in political science required, with specialization in public policy. Extensive and senior professional policy practitioner experience required. Teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level required.
Description of duties: Teaching at the graduate level, developing the syllabus, teaching three-hour classes, providing weekly break-out group leadership and office hours for academic counseling of students, preparing and delivering course material, preparing and delivering assignments and tests, marking student work and submitting grades, and supervising TA(s) if applicable.
