Your opportunity:
The Work-Integrated Learning portfolio of the OELPP team supports the experiential learning curricular activities for the Full-Time MBA, Master of Financial Risk Management (MFRM) and Master of Management Analytics (MMA), and Master of Management (Mmgt) programs. These experiential learning activities include, but are not limited to: student internships, student practicum projects and student industry project placements. The Office is responsible for monitoring the quality of student learning outcomes, effective placement of students with industry hosts and strengthening and maintaining existing relationships with the industry. The Office is also responsible for managing two Advisory Boards.
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Program Manager serves as a primary relationship manager for external projectsponsors and industry partners. The incumbent is responsible for the full lifecycle of industry-sponsored practicum projects, from proposal intake through student matching, onboarding, project oversight, and post-engagement evaluation. This role ensures a high-quality sponsor experience and supports long-term partner retention through proactive communication, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
The Program Manager leads the planning and execution of key large-scale sponsor-facing engagement events and represents the Office in professional interactions with corporate stakeholders. The role also supports internship-based programming by maintaining strong working relationships with Internship Advisors and ensuring seamless coordination of course-related requirements and student engagement activities.
This position requires strong judgment, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple external stakeholders while balancing academic timelines, operational processes, and programobjectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and strengthening professional relationships with external project sponsors and industry partners
- Implementing plans that support the development and delivery of work-integrated learning opportunities
- Conceptualizing, organizing and executing large-scale sponsor-facing events
- Liaising with students, faculty, and Internship Advisors to coordinate internship and practicum activities
- Conducting post-event and post-program evaluations, analysis and recommendations for improvements to enhance sponsor and student experience
- Developing and revising business methods that support administrative workflow and effective program and stakeholder management
- Generating reports, maintaining program records, and monitoring financial transactions and expenses
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years' of related experience in stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, program management, or work-integrated learning
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining professional relationships with external organizations, corporate partners, or industry stakeholders
- Experience serving as a primary point of contact for external partners in a professional or business-facing environment
- Experience leading large-scale professional events involving external partners or sponsors
- Experience collecting and analyzing stakeholder feedback and preparing summary reports and recommendations
- Experience tracking expenses, verifying financial transactions,and supporting budget monitoring
- Proven ability to manage multiple external stakeholders while coordinating internal operational or academic processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally to senior-level external stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, survey tools, and database systems
