As the Project Coordinator, International Relations, you will advise current and prospective postgraduate learners on academic and financial matters, considering their personal circumstances and backgrounds, and providing tailored options and consequences. In addition, you will be responsible for developing outreach strategies, creating marketing materials, and reviewing admissions applications. Finally, this position will be responsible for coordinating in-person and virtual services related events. Utilizing your strong project coordination and analytical skills, you will coordinate project tasks with various stakeholders and analyze statistical data.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Advising learners on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual’s background.
  • Developing strategies that maximize outreach to learners, including developing content for marketing and/or promotional materials.
  • Reviewing and assessing admissions applications.
  • Coordinating tasks forprojects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders.
  • Analyzing statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning; Generating reports.
  • Delivering student recruitment presentations.
  • Analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvements.
  • Handling sensitive and/or confidential information.

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in a front-facing and student advising capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing admissions applications.
  • Demonstrated project coordination experience.
  • Proficiency with analyzing statistical information for enrollment purposes.
  • Strong experience providing recommendations on service delivery improvements.
  • Experience delivering presentations.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Web Conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams), and specialized learner information systems (POWER, OATS & STAR)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to keep others on track in a collaborative manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to international learners, sponsoring agencies, professional and government organizations
  • Ability to function independently with strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills, with an ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
