Your opportunity:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Dental Technical Services, the incumbentprovides administrative support and staff of the Undergraduate Dental Technical Services Laboratory; maintains financial records, and other records as required, maintains an adequate stock of instruments and supplies; performs various related duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with contacts to ensure consistent dental technical services administration procedures are followed
- Keeping well-informed on policies, procedures, regulations, and new technology
- Performing routine data entry
- Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of billing information
- Providing detailed information on clinic procedures and protocols
- Preparing, assembling and setting-up material, equipment, and supplies used in teaching and/or research lab
Essential Qualifications:
- College Diploma (2 years) in a related area or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum two years within the dental field.
- Strong computer skills with experience of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity withAxium or a similar healthcare software
- Highly developed organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Assets (Nonessential):
- Experience in a dental lab is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: USW Pay Band 07 -- $59,172. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $75,673. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
