Design + Engineering is a foundational design course that uses both architectural and engineering design processes as a context for developing skills essential to the practice and study of architecture. Students will be assigned a unique team design project with a real-world client and will be asked to present their work with drawings, diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and completed documentation.

Wednesday 13:00-15:00
Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2025 to April 30, 2025
Estimated Enrollment: Approx. 20 students per section
Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Architecture/Master of Landscape Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications: We are seeking applicants with a proven record of teaching design at the undergraduate or graduate-level.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
