Description:

Students continue to develop their skills in pre-production, production and post-production of digital media used in moving image artworks. Emphasis is placed on the conceptual development of projects, with class discussions and individual meetings focusing on all stages of works-in-progress. Strategies for distribution, exhibition and funding are examined.

Salary: 

$9,820.70 for Sessional Lecturer I ($10,510.04 for SLI Long Term);

$10,510.04 for Sessional Lecturer II ($10,760.28 for SLII Long Term);

$10,760.28 for Sessional Lecturer III ($11,030.36 for SLIII Long Term), inclusive of vacation pay

Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail 

Minimum Qualifications: MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist showing moving image-based artwork. Applicants may be asked to supply references.

Preferred qualifications: Internationally recognized practice.. 

Description of duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
